I actually got mine semi-recently off of eBay off contract so I wouldn't have to renew mine. Came from a BlackBerry Tour 9630 so the jump was big.

I'm really happy with it. Just the right size, fast, and does everything I want it to do plus I just subscribed to Spotify so I'm enjoying that on my incredible. That being said I've been keeping an eye out for future phones but none from Verizon seem that promising...

The Thunderbolt is cool, but kinda big and bulky plus 4G kills the battery.
The Incredible 2 is nice as well but not a big leap from the current Incredible in my opinion.

I don't really have any compelling reason to upgrade anytime soon. Just gonna wait till something comes along that makes the decision easy as pie.

Anyone else feel the same?

I am very happy with my Droid Incredible. As anyone on these forums that know me can attest to, this is the greatest phone I have ever owned. And after having this phone since May 4th of last year, there isn't one phone out on Verizon's network that is enticing enough to jump to another phone. When the day comes that a great Sense phone from HTC is released that is similar to the Sensation, maybe. But I am very happy.

I am happy with my incredible as well. It has been flawless for me. Only time I had any issues was with kernel that didn't like my custom rom/phone. It was quickly solved.
I still don't see a phone that's already out on vzw that could be worth me burning my upgrade on.
The incredible was my first android phone and had it just over a year! :)

I came from a Pre Plus and really like the Incredible. I plan on keeping this one until it dies or I break it.. whichever comes first. ;)

I'm very happy... but if the Nexus Prime rumorers are true....................

I came from a Touch Pro 2 phone but I had been stalking the Dinc for quite some time. I do love my phone but as Pville notes, Prime is coming. The only downside to that is that it will be made by Samsung which I don't find aesthetically pleasing but it still may be the spec sheet that I have been looking for. It will be sad to see the Dinc be left at home, but I am sure there will be owners who find new uses for their little powerhouses

On a side note, would probably also have to go to the Prime just to remain in a forum with Pville who is a constant help to everyone around here.

I'll be keeping mine for awhile, had it for a year now and all is good. i did have to send it back for a replacement due to some battery and heating issues that resulted in it being stuck in reboot loop, but all is right in the android world since.

I like the way it feels in hand, nice weight, good solid phone, not cheap feeling as i feel some of the other phones on the market are

My SO has the incredible 2 and it is also a nice phone, has a few tweaks to the phone but essentially the same as my incredible, great phone

That would be a reason for me to use my upgrade  samsung is the only unknown factor in that phone ,,,but I will still keep the incredible usually dont sell my old phones .

I have yet to see a phone specs wise or aesthetic wise that is worthy of an incredible upgrade. Have had mine since day one. May hold onto it for quite a while.

I'm keeping mine for now (had it since Nov. 2010), but I'd really like something with a front facing camera for doing video chats with family who live far away. I'm a diehard Sense fan, so as of now the Inc 2 is the only phone I'd consider (don't want to deal with Thunderbolt battery life and we are FAR FAR away from getting LTE where I live), but the Inc 2 just doesn't seem like enough of a step up to waste an upgrade on.

I've had mine 14 months. CM7, some very nice themes (iKandee!) and FontChanger have turned my Dinc into a totally new phone. But one thing that all of the software in the world cannot change is the screen size. My next device will have at least a 4.3" screen. So if I'm going to upgrade, then it might as well be a dual-core, LTE phone with a larger screen.

Where is the Bionic, SG2 or Prime?!?!?

I've had mine stock since June 2010, though I'm leaning toward rooting with CM7 (still waiting to see if we'll get the Gingerbread OTA first). But I've been very happy with my phone. Not due for an upgrade until February and as of now, the only device I would consider getting is the next Nexus phone, if it comes to Verizon. If not, then I would likely stay with the Incredible.

I've been loving this phone since I got it on launch day way back in April 2010. I came from a BB Storm 1 that I had been running leaks and hybrids on to get some "decent" performance on. The leap from the Storm to the Inc was a huge one and I think it's going to take a leap of that nature to get me to leave the Inc. So far there just isn't anything out there that makes me want to switch. I think the Inc 2 is the perfect size but it seems like there aren't as many options for ROM's out there (I could be wrong there as I haven't really investigated it that far). There are tons of ROM's for the original Inc and I'm loving the Gingerbread/Sense2.1 and Sense3.0 ROM's. As long as there are developers out there putting out kick a$$ ROM's, I'll be holding steady and flashing!!

I'm still happy with my Incredible..had it for a year. My contract is up August 6th. Waiting on the Nexus Prime.

Do all of you have jobs? I dont, and i keep looking, soon I may have to go to Virgin Mobile.

Yeah I still have a job as at this point in time I do anyhoo .If I didnt or for some reason loose my job,,, well might have to downgrade but hopefully things improve on the job market.
Good luck on your job hunting hopefully you find one soon

If the Inc 2 was more of an upgrade than it is I would probably jump on that one but personally I am going to enjoy making Verizon squirm a little.
But I love mine and there are so many Roms out there I can change it every other day.

I know how it is being unemployed. I have been out of work since Dec2010. I have some opportunities in the works and am trying to get I to something different. But the thought of losing my Verizon is not an option.

i just came to it from a samsung continuum the jump was huge, as well as a good one, had froyo, did some searching, my first flashed rom was Pure Speed V8, then flashed gingersense, been happy ever sense (failed pun)

and as for upgrading....nah, been eyeing the rumors of the Nexus Prime, but i highly doubt it will come to Verizon, still looking at the bionic though, really interested in it, and if nexus does come, i'm getting the Nexus Prime.
