Dinc won't synch to my PC

Plugged my Dinc into my PC via the factory supplied cable and all I get is a message on my PC saying "...cell phone will not synch. Please disconnect, wait 10 seconds and try again." I've never had a problem with it until today. I always plug it in and it synch's automatically. My PC seems to know I have my phone plugged in so I suppose there's a setting on my Dinc that changed?

Do you have another PC you could try?

Are you rooted?

I do not have another PC at home. I'm not rooted. I would be but that stuff is way over my head. I checked to make sure my PC software is current for the synch. Just pluged my phone in and got the same message saying "HTC synch port to phone not responding. Unplug for 10 seconds and reconnect."

Try uninstalling the driverd in device manager and letting them re-install when you reconnect. That should help.

Not sure how it happened but I plugged my phone in this morning and it synched up automatically just like it always did. I've been in Mexico since Thursday and had my phone turned off until we got back to the US border yesterday morning. Hope it keeps working.
