DINC2 Battery

My wife has the original DINC. I am thinking about getting her the DINC2. I was wondering if they use the same batteries. I have the original that came with the phone and a slim extended battery. It would be great if I could avoid the expense of having to buy a spare battery (I would have two spares if they work). Thanks in advance!

i think there was a thread about this somewhere, but they don't fit, if i remember correctly, and i think you also have to flip the battery because the contacts are on the other side.

It could just be me, but I dont understand your wording. If you flip the battery, will it work? Thanks

you have to flip it and clip off a piece of the corner to get it to fit and be able to close the battery door.
