When I connect via PC's USB, the folder for the SD card opens without a problem.

The Phone storage will NOT open. The drive says "CD Drive" but is inaccessible.

If you want to access the SD card on the phone, you should put the connection to PC in disk drive mode.

To do that, hit "menu", then "settings", then scroll down until you see "connect to PC", tap, then tap "default connection type", then change it to "disk drive" and hit done.

You can change that again when you just want to charge the phone via USB or change it to whatever you want later on.

I assume you are trying to add maybe photos, music, or videos to the card so you can pull them up on your phone and that is one way of doing it. The other way is doing through the HTC Sync software that should have been installed on your pc once you plugged your phone for the first time.

Hope this helps.

thanks guys. I'll give HTC Sync a try. Strange that I didnt have this issue with my Inc

ughhh.....that didnt work.

Let me give you all the details....

With my old INC, i connected to PC via USB cable. Two folders would pop up. One was the SD card, the other was the internal phone storage

With my INC2, I connect to PC via USB cable. ONLY one folder pops up....the SD card.
How do I access the internal phone storage?

Ah I see. I'm sorry but I have no idea how to access that part of the memory. Lowfire might be better to answer this question.

I thought it was the SD card you were trying to access. My bad.

You can't access the ROM which is the internal storage on the dinc2 the internal memory on the dinc2 is only for app storage
