Why does the DTV app suck on Android tablets?

My wife has the iPad 2 and the DTV app on it can even stream live TV. Why can't the Android app do that? Are there different developers or something?

I'm in total agreement with you the ipad2 app is get and we need it for Android. I have got around to it yet but you can complain about it on Directv's website right here [Cached:15:59:36-16:19:36]Home.

Well I am having very good time with my Samsung Galaxy tab with directv on it. It is streaming well and occupies very little system resources.

I think its always not like that every apps is supported on iPhone gadgets and android gadgets. For iphone the app may be different and for android app may be different. You can search dish tv app that supports android. Nothing else.
