Disable App shortcut to appear on homepage by default ?

One thing I noticed was whenever I install an app, a shortcut is made in homescreen by default.
I just got the phone and I had to install about 50 apps and now I have to delete all the shortcuts which waste of time!! I do organize apps in appdrawer and then move folders shortcuts to homescreen. There should be a way to disable this feature.

Don't worry, you can easily turn that off. Under the Play Store, go to Settings, and there's an option that says something like "automatically add to homescreen". Just uncheck that, and you'll be good to go from there

OK - it appears the "automatically add homescreen widgets for apps downloaded" does this. I was thrown because they say widgets instead of shortcuts.

Go into the Play Store, go to settings, should be third from top, Auto-add Widgets. Pretty sure it's that one.
