Will it hurt your LG android if you disable apps you don't use that were put on your phone by verizon?

I call them bloatware
disable what you don't use.

I disabled or uninstalled whatever I didn't want to use on my LG G6.

If it's an app you see in the app drawer, it's likely safe to uninstall it if you don't want it. Just be careful, because disabling some pre-installed apps could cause things to stop working right. The app manager will show you many apps that won't show up in the app drawer, so those will take more scrutiny. For example, this one.

Disabling this could prevent the phone from reading a text out loud to you, which many people like while driving. If you notice any issues after disabling something, just enable it again and it should fix the problem.

I disabled 21 apps on my Verizon Droid Maxx 2. The very first app you should disable is DT Ignite.
