Disable fast charge

Actually yes if you use fast charging to often your devices screen will over time become less responsive. The screens touch sensitivity will slowly die out, along with the screen rotation feature. Of the two, screen rotation generally goes first. These issues are the result of the heat generated by the fast charger while it's connected. And of coarse anyone whose got an S6(Edge) knows all about that irritating heat issue.

I'm glad this question was asked. I think we have all heard as a general rule that fast charging generally is harder on batteries than a slower charge. Since Samsung has allowed fast charging, we are assuming that it's not TOO bad for the battery. Generally, we should be fine with fast charging, but I guess the question is, in cases where we don't need fast charging, could we optimize our long term battery life by not using a fast charger. The best example is charging overnight. There is certainly no need for a fast charge there. Or, has Samsung really done something with this technology where we should have absolutely no concern about using the fast charger 100% of the time?

You will find that fast charging ANY battery degrades the life and performance. The slower the charge the better and deeper the charge.

Here is what I do ...:

I would turn the fast cable charge on when I'm on the go , I need it for a quick charge at the airport
And I turn it OFF when get home ..
