disable flipboard

How do you disable flipboard from loading when swiping right from home screen ?

Tap and hold on an empty area of the home screen to edit it. There's a check box to turn the briefing thing on and off.

I've looked for everywhere I can disable it. Where is this package disabler you speak of? Thanks

Package Disabler is an app in the app store. It has worked wonders for my Active.

Can confirm. Phone is actually usable now.
