Advice elsewhere in these forums suggest that Google Now's home button interceptions can be disabled for good by going to:
Settings>Apps>Default App Settings>Assistance & voice input and setting the "Assist App" to "None."
That has been working for me temporarily, but, the Google App quickly resets itself as my choice.
Does anyone know how or why this is happening and what I might do to stop it?
I am running a version of Marshmallow -- EMUI 4 -- on an Honor 5x.
