Disable HDMI output in samsung dock

Hi, Ive been using the samsung dock on the note 4 but I want to diable the HDMI output to use it only as OTG for USB mouse and keyboard but when i plug the power, the screen in the phone goes dark and i WANT TO STILL USE THE PHONE SCREEN. Is this feasible? Thanks

Enable Developer Options and check the 'Stay Awake While Charging' box, that should do it.

Thanks for your response! Now I've tried this but that option is grayed out in the developer option...any idea on how to activate it?

I had to remove the outlook app and the security permissions and Iwas able to get the stay awake option activated.

What I've noticed so far is that I can get the screen to stay on until I plug a logitech dongle for mouse and keyboard, then screen goes black.

funny thing is I was able to get it to work yesterday with no issues whatsoever...
