Disable increasing ring

Sorry if this was already asked or covered but i was wondering if there is a way without root to disable the increasing ringtone feature on the phone. I can't find anything in the settings for it.

If you're talking about how the first second or two starts very low then suddenly jumps to your set volume (not a slow steady volume increase but a sudden jump) then no, there is no fix for it yet it seems. I have a thread about it:

Hope they fix this is an update. I can't believe something like that got through product testing unnoticed. And if they call this a "feature" it's absolute nonsense because if your phone is in another room you now have less time to get to it before the caller gets your voicemail since you often will miss the first ring or two.
