Disable Proximity Sensor OnXperia Z1 Compact

My z1 compact proximity sensor is faulty. Already checked via the code *#7xxxxx#
When I make a call screen goes blank and cant end my call manually.
Just want to disable the proximity permanently.

Running andriod 5.1.1

Will appreciate help..!

How do you end your calls in that situation?

I have the same problem.
Ending a call is not possible: have to wait for the other participant in the call to terminate the call. If you end up on the other parts voice mail, this can take a while.
Problem with normal phone calls, Facebook Messenger calls, ... anything that blanks the screen and disables the touch-sensitivity of the screen based on the proximity sensor.
