Disable screen wake when connecting power

Is there a way to disable the screen turning on when connecting the charger? How?

Not in the stock version (which bugs me, too... but I find it more annoying that the screen comes On when I UPLUG the charger...)

If rooted, however, it might be possible but I'm not sure if someone with the right props has come up with a method or hack for this.
