Disable Software Update Notification??

I'm rooted and get a Verzion Update that pops up every time I unlock my phone. Does anyone know any methods to disable the update notification?

You can pull the shade down and longpress the notification. When you do that a box will appear that says 'App Info' Click on it, then uncheck 'Show Notificarions'

Thanks but that would not work for me, the notification box is checked and grayed out so it wont let me uncheck it. I did end up removing the notification though by downloading the paid version of Titanium Back Up and Freezing the SDM 1.0 application.
