Disable the Verizon junk and clear up your app drawer in the process

Keeping Verizon Cloud and Caller Name ID enabled?
No, I disabled those too along with the Amazon apps. Does anyone know if we can disable Verizon's Voice Mail app? Can we access our voicemails without this app?

How would you access the visual voicemail without an app? It would be old fashioned calling your voicemail and listening to it through a menu...

Unless I'm missing something.

Doesn't Verizon's Visual Voicemail have a monthly fee? That's why I never used it and got my voicemails the old fashioned way.

I use Google Voice currently for visual voicemail since its free. You Mail is another option people talk about a lot, but I've never used it.

I noticed that disabling some of Verizon apps also disabled airplane mode.

Which Verizon apps? I think I have all of them disabled and airplane mode works for me....

The app is called setup wizard. If I disable it, it stops my airplane mode from functioning. FYI, my phone is encrypted I'm not sure if it has anything to do with it though.

Basic Visual Voice Mail **CURRENT FEATURE***

Manage voice messages directly from your phone. Listen to and delete messages in any order without having to listen to instructions.*

That's the free one.

Visual Voice Mail

That's the one that costs 2.99 a month.
