disable updates on a single App

Hi. I have been using the Samsung music app to play and manage my music as for me it's the most simple and enjoyable to use.
Since it has to been downloaded from app store/galaxy app store it updates automatically along with my other apps. I don't like the most updated version of this app and prefer an older version which I have the .apk for which I use instead.
I have turned off auto updates for apps to stop it constantly installing the newest version. However I then have to manually install all other app updates.

Is there a way to stop a particular app from auto updating so all other app will auto update baring the selected app.

Go to that app in the music store and at the top right of that screen, tap the three dots. Uncheck Auto update. It will prompt you each time there is an update so you can skip them.
