So on my s 22 ultra, I was able to turn on the disable absolute volume for my bluetooth device in the developer options to have my phone volume and my buds to control the volume separately. It worked flawlessly . Now, on this phone, I have the options the exact same as my s22, and i got it to work , but after i restarted the phone, it stopped working. I haven't been able to get it to do it again. Anyone else have this issue ? What can I do to get it to work ?

I have it in my S24 Ultra developer options. I don't use that setting, but it's there if I wanted to use it. I'm running the OneUI 7 beta, but I know it was there since I've had this device.

I've looked at my S24U and played with volume controls on the device, my Buds3 Pro, even hearing aids. Since I'm unclear what this particular setting is even supposed to accomplish, I can't say what I've noticed or not noticed.

Its supposed to make it where the volume on your phone and the volume of your bluetooth device is separate. If i turn my phone volume to 100% and then I turn up the volume on my earbuds, the volume on the phone won't go up . It will remain at whatever value I manually put it on no matter how high or low i change the earbud volume. I hope I explained it right.

got it 👍 I can't envision a use case for me where that would matter, but now that I'm aware, we'll see

I got it to work again after i unpaired and re paired my buds 3pro to my phone ,but it seems that once I put the Buds back into my charging case it knocks it out. I didn't have this issue with my buds 2 pro. I'm not going through unpairing and re pairing everytime. It's not worth it. Thanks all for the suggestions.
