Disabling wifi notification

Rooted phone today. Looks like for the s3 you could update some sql to make the adjustment but it seems different on the s4.

Hey parafly. Have you tried pressing and holding the notification, going to app info, and force closing? This will work until you restart your phone.
 
Doesn't that force stop android system?

Technically, yes. But there are no negative side effects.

Edit:I woke up, 8 hours later to find it returned on its own without reboot, so probably not the most reliable method. Sorry :-(
