Disappearing At-A-Glance weather is annoying...

Maybe it's just because I don't keep the Google app open to the left of the main home screen, but the weather disappears daily! I always have to launch the Google app to get it back. Is this normal?

It shouldn't be. I'm not even using the Pixel launcher (I prefer Nova), but I have At-A-Glance on one of my home screens, and it's never disappeared. (I check it every morning when I wake up.)

For me the weather disappears overnight so when I first look at the lock screen in the AM, it's not there. Pretty quickly after I unlock my phone it returns. Using 4xl now and I observed the same behavior when I used the 2xl. I've always used the stock launcher and have the swipe right to get feed active.

I've been Googling a little more, and I think it may have something to do with me keeping location history off. I turn all of that stuff off right when I get a new phone.

Yes it depends on those kind of stuff and could definitely affect it. Personally, I don't turn anything off on my phone and FWIW I never had any issue with at a glance widget. Weather always shows along with upcoming appointments etc.

From my past experience this used to happen on my original pixel when I too used to shut off all of the location toggles. Once I turned location services on it all worked
