disappearing directories

help! some folders where i keep files and photos are not showing up anymore on directory. i tried astro and linda and no luck. however, the gallery still shows that the photos are there and in that directory yet i can't see them. what happened and how do i fix it?

I've had that happen with Astro. I then installed ESFile and it showed the files.

Also, are the files hidden? Maybe you need to check the "Show Hidden Files" box in Astro?

i think i found them. sugarsync had the same folders i was missing in a sugarsync briefcase. i ended up just taking them out of there and putting them where the old ones used to be. hope it doesn't happen again. don't know why it did.
