Disappearing text

New S9+ with stock messaging app, and the text is not visible unless I touch the bubble. Any ideas?
Update : only on certain themes, such as "Optical Blue" and "Magazine".

Looks like a broken theme

I've heard reports that with some themes you get white text on a white background. (Touching the bubble highlights the text, changing its color.) So if you're using a there, change it. If not, add one.
