this is what happened at a sprint store yesterday, so far sprint understands... didnt even ask for a store or rep name until i suggested it. i sent this to their customer service.
hi, i am livid. i made an appointment to have my phone looked at by a tech at one of your corporate stores, i started by seeing the rep sitting out front where he plugs my phone in hangs it upside down and drops it onto the desk a short drop but still he's dropped it as many times as i have in the 15 months ive owned it. he then scolds me like a child and tells me im never supposed to use my phone while charging, tells. me that he cant even look at my phone with the launcher i have, and that not only should i disable it but i should uninstall it completely and when i say i want a tech to look at my phone he said they would look at him like he was crazy but could put my. phone on a charger for an hour but likely this would be a waste of time and that they can look at volatage history to see if i used my phone while it was charging (im not sure why this is an issue since i have insurance on the phone and feel i should be able to use it when i want) when i brought up insurance he said well you might get a refurbished phone as a replacement and do i really want a refurbished note 4 after the note 5 has been out for few months imply that your refurbished phones are subpar. he also said they could factory reset my phone (once again not sure why my phone would need to be factory reset because of a hardware issue) my issue is that intermittently my phone will not stay. connected on the charger and i wanted the port looked at by a tech. i am very disappointed in how i was treated at the store today (honestly usually everyone assists me to tbe best of their abilities and are willing to answer questions when i ask) why do i have insurance on my phone if im having issues and cant get a tech to look at it and when i said i could bring my car charger in he said it really wouldnt matter if it didnt recreate the issue. very unwilling to assist me and seemed to just want to get me out of the store, i really do not appreciate how i was treated and how your employee was dismissive of my concerns, i am aware that maybe the issue is. possibly exacerbated by using the phone while it is plugged in, but so what? i have insurance if i need to pay a deductible im willing to. and my problem is not when im using the phone but when it is on a car mount plugged into the charger. i think he felt that maybe i was technologically inept and if he threw around enough phrases i would trust that he was well versed in what he was spewing. my problem was not with voltages and if some tech could research if i used my. phone while charging so i could be chided about causing the problem. and losing things i had not backed up because of a factory reset... if it needs factory reset ive backed everything i needed backed up in several places... he continually created scenarios to convince me to not have the issue with my my phone corrected. why do i have insurance?
havent answered any questions just keep telling me they understand.
