discharges on wireless charger?

When my phone is on the vzw wireless charging stand it lights up, phone says it is wireless charging and aprox charge time. but the phone discharges. Any ideas?

It won't hurt anything.

Turn the device off.

Hold volume up rocker+home button+ power button at the same time.

In manual mode, use the volume rocker to toggle to clear cache partition. Power button to accept.

Then, use the volume rocker to reboot. Power button to accept.

If you don't mind having to set your device again, try a factory reset. Settings/Personal/Backup and Reset. If it persists, it might time, depending upon how long it's been since your purchase, to consider your exchange your device. As long as your device is aligned properly, it shouldn't discharge while charging.

Since it works on a regular charger. Try a different wireless charger and a rapid charger.

It sounds like the wirless charger was the issue. Hopefully,the process wasn't too painful. Had to eliminate the device as the issue.

Wouldn't think so. Try disabling it and give the wireless charger another go.

Still no good. Went and exchanged the charger, still same issue. I'll give it another try after the next update.

By now it's sounding like a defective unit, probably best to exchange it.
