Discoloration on pictures

so when you take a picture inside without flash. do you have this kind of issue?
Yes. But it varies greatly on the intensity of light, type of light, color of light, subject matter (skin tones verses paper towels, etc.). Sometimes not very noticeable, other times it is.

Personally, I thnk the TBolt's camera is pretty good. Considering...

thanks, i guess i'm just very critical of my phone. for how much it costs i expect perfection.
 
Looked at another phone and its the same. It's and HTC thing. Iphone4 and charge don't have the issue

From long time experience with even professional cameras (digital now) I can tell you that every manufacturer has its "signature" on the image. Much like you have experienced. It is well known, for example, if you want saturated snappy pictures choose Fuji. If you want not so snappy, no so saturated, but more color detail (lab measured) choose a Nikon - better potential but each image might require computer correction to achieve the best result). If you want a pretty good image with less computer fine tuning necessary but potentially less overall accuracy, chose Sony. If you want a mixture of pretty much all of the above and less computer manipulation than Nikon, choose Canon.

That's just how it goes. Accounting for peoples tastes and making concessions for price point is not an exact science.
