Disconnect Charger Notification

Since the lollipop "upgrade" a new irritation has occurred.

It's annoying that when the phone is docked on the desk or in the car I constantly get this banner saying the phone is fully charged, disconnect the charger. The banner has to be manually swiped away and it gets in the way of Sat Nav. The phone is in a dock, I'm not going to fiddle around unplugging stuff.

How can I disable this annoying notification?

I have the same issue and have tried a few suggestions, but none have worked...this is extremely annoying when you use your phone as a night clock and wake up to an insanely bright white light in your face at 2 am. Hopefully a developer will come come with an app or work around. or maybe they will put out a fix with any updates that follow.
I leave my phone on he charger all night every night so the screen burn in issue also is a concern.

It's not necessarily Lollipop or even manufacturer specific. I have it on my TMO Note 3 and I've read of other Samsung and LG G3 users with the problem. Nexus users don't have it, nor does my brother on his Verizon Note 3 on Lollipop.

It was on mine when I first got it a year and a half ago under jellybean. I just finally got in the habit of plugging it in and laying it facedown. I've got battery HD and I thought it eliminated the problem with their quiet time, but evidently it didn't.

You're the first person I've read about that had this before Lollipop. I assume you also have a Note 3, but what carrier are you on? Just to confirm, this is the banner you had before Lollipop?

The first time that thing flashed a white screen at 4 am I turned it over face down. Scared the crap outta me. I searched and managed to get the sound off. No idea how. 18 months ago. Ever since, I set it on the headboard at night face down. If it still comes on, I don't see it. AT&T, note 3. Year and a half and still on the same battery. Battery life is just about the same as it was when I got it. That is, after I did a factory reset after lollipop.
