Anyone know how to disable this after the Android 7.0 emui 5.0 update

Although I cannot be for certain, I remember having one Android phone that in settings you could turn off. I assume you've exhausted all and every setting function? If not it maybe worth digging deeper on as I would not be surprised if this function is in the settings but stuck in no man's land alone somewhere hiding in plain sight. Might be worth a call to tech support too.
