Discover stays on in Chrome mobile.

When I open Google chrome on my S10 it populates the page with articles using Discover. I turn it off in two places and later it comes back on and when I check the settings it's back on. AGAIN. You'll see i have it off Do not show on homepage and I clicked save but it comes back every time. Followed ALL settings instructions and it still comes on.
Any help will be appreciated

Is Chrome the preinstalled stock browser, or do you also have Samsung Internet? If the latter, try doing the same using that browser, and see if it sticks. Just wondering if somehow Samsung Internet is overriding what you do on Chrome.

I'll test this out on my Pixel 3 XL. If it happens to me as well, then it's probably a bug, and we should send feedback to Google about it.

I don't think DISCOVER is part of the Samsung Internet browser. I did send feedback to Google but I've never received any reply and I never used Samsungs Internet browser. Put it in the Samsung folder where it sits. Untouched and unopened.
