Discovered that Note 7 Stylus Works on Note 8!!!! Both Styluses Appear Identical

After I got my Galaxy Note 8 on Tuesday Last week I realized that I was probably going to loose the stylus for the Note 8 at some point in my life (probably pretty soon). I realized I had a Note 7 stylus I saved from the Note 7. I tried to use it on the Note 8 and low and behold it works!! It also fits perfectly into the same slot that holds the stylus within the smartphone. When you hold both styluses right next to each other they look almost identical!!

From what I have seen online they are supposed to be identical.
