[Discussion] BT Ear Buds/Headphones and Audible

I use a pair of Galaxy Buds 2 with my S23 Ultra. I have noticed that when I have Audible running in the the background and take out my Buds, all is fine. When I go to put my Buds back in to resume playback, it can take up to 15-20 seconds for my Buds to connect to my phone and be ready for playback.

Now, if I close Audible after I am done and I put my Buds back in later to listen again, if Audible is not running, my Buds connect almost instantly with my phone and I can start the app and resume playback.

Does anyone else notice this? I cannot comment on other audio apps as I rarely listen to anything other than Audible on my phone.

Is this an Audible issue or a Samsung issue?

The delay in reconnecting your Galaxy Buds 2 to your Samsung Galaxy S23 Ultra when Audible is running in the background could be due to factors such as Samsung's battery optimization, Audible's background app behavior, Bluetooth connection handling, and Audible app performance.

Thought of all of this as well. Just annoying and wanted to get other thoughts.
