Can anybody tell me how to save my downloads from dish net app to my SD card instead of of them saving to phone storage. All my storage is gone due do to this.

Thanks in advance

If the app itself doesn't give option where to download your files, then you may have to use file viewer and physically move the files to external SD. Hopefully this is a workaround if direct download to external SD isn't an option.

I've been looking into a possible switch to Dish, with the Hopper/Sling and Dish Anywhere. From what I've read so far, short of rooting your phone, and installing a hack to direct files to the SD card, there seems to be no way of getting them to the SD card. It seems I'd be limited to the phone's internal storage. I think I read it requires about 2gb of storage per hour of video, so seems like a perfect opportunity for SD card storage.

I would love to be proved wrong, however, and will follow this thread.

I love the dish to watch movies from my phone. I can tell you one thing, I downloaded 4 movies and it used 3 GB. So them saying 2 GB per movie is wrong. All 4 equals just a little bit over 6 1/2 hours.

Were any of you able to move your movies to external SD without issue?

I have not been able to. I wish there was a easy and quick way. I tried file manager etc.
Nothing yet, if anybody knows a work around please post.

Thanks
