I get these on phone. But you can't make them dismiss or go up or down on snooze. Can't do anything with them. I held it down. Won't go away.

Is there a trick I am missing? Or can I make it not come up.. but still need the notification.

TIA

I've always placed my finger on "Dismiss" and slide right or left. You should also be able to pull the notification shade down and swipe to dismiss it.

Thanks, I will try going L or R.
or down and swipe.

it's usually a problem when not using phone. They pop-up and I can't do anything.

Give that a whirl, and if you still have an issue, try again after a reboot, see if it is still an issue, and let us know what happens. Thanks!

No worries! I've been with Samsung since the S3, and others know even more tricks than I do. Heck, I still learn something new every day on the forums. Glad to help! :)

I've had my Galaxy A21s for over two years and the undissmissable calendar notifications just started a few months ago.
I am a 30+ year IT Professional and can't dismiss them by swiping. I have to change the calendar item I'm being notified about (they ARE handy for alerting you what's in your calendar that you don't want to forget) but if you're running short if time....not good at all.

I don't work for Samsung but am a 30+ year IT professional.
I looked in my Goigle calendar - I removed the Samsung calendar that came with the phone just to reduced clutter.
When you decide to add a reminder notification on Google calendar, you are given the choice of being notified via a pop up - that you or I cannot dismiss - or an email, which I am guessing doesn't make any noise.
I set up a pop up tomorrow - HAPPY NEW YEAR! - and I'll experiment with that one.

I got rid of Samsung right away, and just have google .. I got rid of lock screen. I often do email but that can be too much.
On samsung tablet (which I don't even have calendar installed, it's hard to get rid of them.
They should just change how you get rid of them.
