Android Central Question

Hi, I have a fingerprint lock set up & have to get back into my phone every time I want to hit play on the Audible app after pausing it. How can I keep the player on my lock screen as long as the app is on? This is with my Samsung S9

Does the player not show on your lockscreen when media is Playing? For AOD you might have to scroll the widget to get to the controls but they should be there on the lockscreen, unless you disabled the Music Control widget in the Face Widgets option in your lockscreen settings.

Mine also 'just worked' until a recent OS update. Now mine too behaves like the op described.
The wigit looks different since the update. It no longer has a bookmark button. If I pause play the wigit doesn't appear anymore and I must unlock to resume.
Oddly enough, you must disable the Music Control widget in the Face Widgets option in your lockscreen settings to revert to the native Audible widget. Apparently the music control settings override the Audible widget, replacing it with something that doesn't work as well.
