Just wondering, is there any way I can put a shortcut to get to my screen timeout option a bit faster? Like our scroll down menu?

Ok, just wanted to make sure there wasn't any misunderstanding.

Give Notification Toggle a try. It isn't a homescreen shortcut/widget, but it might be better -- a persistent and customizable notification toggle bar, with one of the available toggles being the screen timeout option.
