Display times out after 30 seconds. Can't adjust time.

For some reason my display times out after only 30 seconds. I have tried adjusting the time to longer in my settings but it keeps defaulting back to 30 seconds.

I did a factory reset recently and still have the same problem.

Anyone else have this issue?

Did you save the screen time on longer than 30 seconds? Perhaps you pressed it and then canceled or etc. Try going into the settings and see what the default time-out time is.

You might have an app that is conflicting with the settings.

I suppose if it persist you could adjust the security settings so it doesn't lock immediately when the screen times out. So even if it times out in 30secs, you could just power it right back up.

Thanks everyone. I am able to adjust the stock display time. If I go back after changing it I will see the longer adjusted time. But within a short period of time it defaults back to 30 seconds.

I am in the process of trying to find out if I have a rouge app causing it.
I am using Tasker which blocks my lock screen when I am at home so that helps. The main thing I hate is that I am reading and the screen dims before turning off. I have to keep touching the screen to keep it on.

I think I found the problem. The Dynamic notifications app looks like the culprit.
