"Google has continued to raise the on-screen Absolute Picture Quality and Absolute Color Accuracy of their displays by implementing Precision Factory Display Calibration, moving the overall Pixel 4 XL display performance up to Record Setting Outstanding levels, and setting or matching many Display Performance Records, including Absolute Color Accuracy at a very impressive 0.5 JNCD that is Visually Indistinguishable From Perfect, and almost certainly considerably better than your existing Smartphone, 4K UHD TV, Tablet, Laptop and computer monitor. Compared to the Pixel 3 XL, the Pixel 4 XL has a number of notable improvements including 10% higher Peak Brightness, much higher Absolute Color Accuracy, and improved Display Power Efficiency."

Gotta love DisplayMate to giving users objective and factual information.

Pixel 4 XL OLED Display Technology Shoot-Out

The screens are really good, especially the whites in them this year. They seem like true white instead of the slightly yellow tone to see with a lot of oled screens.

My only gripe is the brightness. I believe they said the 4 tops out at 440 nits, which isn't good compared to phones like the note 10 and iPhone pro which i believe can get up over 1k. At 50% the screen seemed really dim in the store.

Yeah they say the color accuracy very good , hope the brightness is above that , would be a shame .

When i liked at the display mate write up, I'm pretty sure that was the number for max brightness. If someone can find a different number, feel free to correct me.
