Distorted, crackling audio?

Has anyone noticed distorted audio when playing any audio or videos? It is a static type of noise. It goes away with a restart, but will return again. I exchanged my phone for this issue, now the new one is doing the same thing. Any ideas? Thanks

I have noticed this. Mostly happens over Bluetooth in my car though. It doesn't do it all the time, just once in a while.

Same here only over Bluetooth but not often. Also happened with my S4 and S6

Weird. Mine is doing it through the built in speaker. I wonder why it goes away with a restart? Maybe a bad app causing it?
