Distorted videos

Anybody else have an issue where the first few seconds of video recorded looks like it's being viewed through a funhouse mirror?

That might be due to the image stabilization. See if happens if you turn it off.

I had something like this happen when I shot a few videos yesterday at the park. As soon as I hit the record button the video looked all jaggedy as I was recording. But upon playback, all was normal. Weird.

I had the same thing start happening today. It's not just during recording, but playback as well.

Did you try it with the image stabilisation off, I think I read the latest update had a fix for this but I never had the problem, so can't test it.

I've had this happen as well for no good reason yesterday. Today's videos were all fine. So odd

Just posted about same problem. Feels like the picture has ripple effect of water.
Definitely gonna send this unit back as i won't have such bug in 850 euro phone.
My iPhone 6 didn't have such problem. Ever.

After many YouTube videos about OIS of this phone it seems that this particular effect is supposed to show as a part of OIS.

Yep. Android ver. 4.2.2 on. Galaxy Tab 3
