I'm building my own home projector and in order to move my project forward, I need a 1080p cheap android phone where I can purchase the LCD panel separate from the backlight.
Reason for this is because I will use the panel with a 100w+ LED backlight and series of lenses to project the image onto my wall.
I've tried separating the glass from backlight on two old phones but this is virtually impossible since they are generally glued down. So my next step is to find an android phone that is cheap an where I can purchase the LCD screen separate from ebay without the backlight.
Does anyone have any tips on which budget 1080p phone sells screen separate from backlight? Thus far the 20 phones I've looked up, everyone sells backlight + lcd already glued together.
