Diztronic TPU cases finally out for S3

Here's a few images that I just took. One shows the misaligned holes I mentioned in my post above and the second shows the charging cable that I now see doesn't fit (it is still able to charge) Maybe I have a different cable than others?

As you can see the holes are slightly off and the end of the charging cable itself does not quite fit through the cutout.

The case just isnt aligned properly. You need to seat it on the phone correctly for the holes to line up. Since it's a soft case, it won't go on perfectly everytime, you need to pull it into position. Here is an example, the bottom pictures are the exact same case on the exact same phone. One is misaligned the other is perfect.

The product description on the clear one warns that (a) it was made for the white gs3 and would look "different" on the blue. Anyone have pics of the blue on with the clear case?

(B) that it might collect colour from inside your pockets because of the anti-yellowing coating on it. Anyone know how big of a problem this is?

There is no anti-yellowing coating, it's just an additive we put in the TPU. It has nothing to do with the case picking up dye from your blue jeans. I would say it's a major problem if you wear blue jeans. I replace mine every 30-60 days.

Does your charger fit through the cutout on the bottom?

The entire head of the Samsung cable will fit through the microUSB hole on our case. The stock Samsung cable that comes with the phone works perfectly with our cases. If you have a microUSB cable that doesn't clip in very well, like the ones Monoprice sells, they probably won't stay in properly. I can't get them to stay in on any of the Galaxy S III cases I own and I own quite a few different ones. Looking at our cases it does appear the bottom microUSB hole is off by a millimeter or so, but it doesn't affect the charging on my phone with the Samsung cable.

Would you guys consider making a glossy white case for the SGSIII? Would that cut down on some of that blue-jean problem?

Onestepahead ,thank you very much for assisting me. We spoke through email a couple of times and you were very helpful in solving my issue. This is the reason I will continue to buy Diztronic products.

Thanks again.

Wait, what is a major problem and what are you replacing?

He was speaking on the fact that if you wear blue jeans a lot, the clear matte TPU case can start to acquire a bluish tint to it. I've had it happen to other cases in the past, it never really bothered me.

In that case, looks like I'll be using the black matte and not the white

Thats what I want to know!! I want someone to post a pic with the pebble blue and a clear case so we can see what it looks like. I would like to highlight the phones color since its nice and unique. I'm hoping the clear case hightlights the color with a matte look to it. If it doesn't than I don't want it, lol!

I purchased the clear case (more like frosted white) for my pebble blue SG3. I dont like it on blue I will get the matte black.

I agree with you, it doesn't look good. I was hoping it'd look more frosted blue. Matte black is the winner here for pebble blue phones!

They also should probably change the description from "clear" to "frost white" to avoid further confusion - or actually make a clear case.

I got the "frost white" and matte black from Amazon - I guess I will send frosty back.

I just got the frost white today in mail. I feel as if it really is to cheap. I also bought a white belkin from Verizon today. I prefer the white one free m Verizon while my white otterbox is on order from Amazon. Anyone else have the same option about the diztronic being sub-par.

I got my matte black case yesterday and am very pleased overall with the look and feel of the case. One thing I was a bit concerned about was whether the sides would bulge out at all but they don't. At first the charging cable didn't really fit correctly, but it turned out that the case just wasn't on straight. I will say that putting the case on "vertically" (as in starting with the top or bottom in first) as opposed to "horizontally" made aligning the case a lot easier for me.

The only thing that bothers me about the case is the thin strip that goes above the volume rocker. It bends really easy.

Anyone else feel like the back of the case is a little slick/slippery?

Yes, especially if you're holding it with one hand. Thats why whenever I pull it out of my pocket, I hold it with two hands! I ordered a Acase on amazon that is similar to the OB Commuter but protectors the corners better. It got good reviews so far and it doesn't cost much ($13 w/shipping & Tax). I rather deal with a little bulk and have PIECE OF MIND that my phone is well protected!

I was using the "clear" case but switched to the matte black one and it feels less slippery and slick.

Wow, so you're saying the clear one is more slippery than the matte black?? Glad I didn't get the clear then, lol!

I'm going to keep this matte black Diztronic case for situations where I need the phone to be slim with little protection like a wedding or formal events. For everyday use though, my new bulkier case will do!

I have had my white "clear" case for about 1 1/2 months now, and it is already showing some serious yellowing. I am extremely disappointed, because this is a great case. However, it looks gross all the time, and I am now looking for alternatives. Specifically, I am looking for a slip case so I can carry the phone naked, but have protection in my pocket.
