DJ05 radio with DL30?

So something has popped up that was very interesting to me. I'm seeing people saying they had much better battery life with the DJ05 radio than they did with DL09 radio. Has anyone knowingly loaded DL30 with the DJ05 radio and were the results positive?

I have seen some setups with the DJ05 modem as well. I'm on DL09 and battery life is the best I've had out of any past setup.

When i first flashed DL30 i couldnt get texts so i flashed DJ05 radio and it fixed it and i hung like that but i have been playing with my phone so much i cant speak for battery life

I've been playing with it so much the only reason I know my battery is in the crapper is my phone spent quite literally 5-7 hours on the charger today. I've pulled red CWM, and if I dont' see some gains tomorrow while i'm at work i'm gonna load the DJ05 radio instead of DL09 and see what happens.

So just to touch base battery life is DRASTICALLY improved with new green cwm instead of red in my latest trial.

How did you install the new green cwm? Did you flash it using red cwm (apply update.zip, then install from sd card)?

Yes, it's a zip that installs with either color of CWM. If you do install it in green, be sure to reboot recovery and apply update.zip again to get into the new one before doing anything else in it.
