is there a way to get my epic back to stock from dk28 WITHOUT using a computer? i've used several different pcs and none are able to recognize the phone. it might by that they are all win7 os'

Have you tried a different cable? Something as silly as a faulty cable, even though it may charge properly may not function just right for Odin to recognize.

you are ABSOLUTELY correct!! I used my old Blackberry cable and it worked PERFECTLY!!! Thank you thank you thank you! My headache finally went away :-D
