DL09 update and Calendar alerts

Am i the only one that can't figure out how to change the default alerts for calendars on the DL09 update?

I have the update, go to the calendar app, hit "settings," and I don't see anything there to turn off alerts.....

Looks like you have to turn them off on each event. Since they don't have alarms on by default this shouldn't be a big issue. Was this feature there before?

it's not a huge deal.

On the droid (what i originally had) there was an option to override the individual calendar event details.

Basically, i want my calendar on my phone, but not beeping at me all the time. it was nice, because you just globally set the default to not bother you and still have all other sounds/alerts on your phone functioning.
