i was poking around google and came accross fascinateforums.com. not sure about them, but i saw this thread.

ok here is a New leak Build out named DL09 Take a peek inside links inside as Well

think this is legit? they removed the link apparently.

there was also this one about 2.2

anyway not sure what to think about these guys, almost every search done for android rooting goes here or to xda, just one or two for these guys.

let me get this straight, dj05, the same dj05 many of are running, did not pass vz qa? how is that? it runs way better than di01. so any this dl09 will take the place of dj05 in the official vzw maint update? why did dj05 not pass qa. its far better than di01.

DJ05 probably didn't pass QC because it didn't play right with all the VZN bloatware...but that is my un-scientific guess. lol

Dl09 is not worth upgrading to from dj05, per those in the know...

And we'll be lucky to get any other leak when idiots like that guy post them all over the internet when specifically told not to.

That's my guess as well. For most of us DJ05 has fixed a lot of our problems with very little other gripes to add to it. Unfortunately. if it doesn't play nicely with Verizon bloatware, they won't release it plain and simple. Instead of updating their apps to make them compatible, Verizon would rather just start the process all over again.

Not to choose sides, but DJ05 was a leak that's now fully public, and no one seems to have a problem with that. Just seems a little disingenuous to make a such fuss about leak "B" becoming public only a few weeks after leak "A" became public with everyone's blessing. If a leak becoming public would cause the leak well to dry up, it's kinda hard to explain how previous leaks are OK...

Now as for DJ05 not passing Verizon's QA process... that's rich, given how many issues the phone shipped with and which remained even after the official DI01 - broken GPS, lag issues, pitiful battery life, etc. Shows you where Verizon's proprieties are...

It was not public for the first month. They probably made it public when they were able to take the signatures out of it so the leaker was protected. Verizon isn't happy about leaks.

Verizon is also the culprit of leaks sometimes, though. They call them "controlled leaks". Whether this particular leak was controlled or not is anyones guess.

Neither here nor there, one of our best devs requests to keep it in irc, he probably has a reason. Maybe Verizon, maybe not. Just ****ty thing to do.

Truthfully it's not even a good update. Those who tried it went back to dj05. The devs aren't porting their themes. Leaking it doesn't do anyone any good, all it can possibly do is get someone in trouble

I agree Adrynalyne it is stuff like that that is completely unnecessary especially when you are putting a lot of effort into trying to help everyone.

Wow. Sorry guys. I didn't mean to cause so much fuss. I am fairly new to the android community. I saw the site and was curious. I have come to trust AC and XDA. As I have no expierance with this other site or even irc, I posted the question here. I do feel bad for the guy who leaked it. No good deed goes unpunished. Hang in there, you are a rock star to most of us. I know I appreciate how much better my phone is because of people like you.
