Has anyone had any problems playing video via DLNA on their Sony Blu-Ray players?

Every time I try to play videos that I took on my Bolt I get the following error

"MIME type not supported..." very frustrating....

My pictures display just fine. HELP!

Can you explain a bit more about what you are trying to do. Is the video file on your TB and you are trying to play it via DLNA on your Sony. Are you tying to play a blue ray on your sony through your TB? or are you trying to operate your Sony through your TB but display on the TV attached to the Blue Ray?

I have a sony home theater and tB and use a DLNA server for both, but not through my TB. Please be aware that I have only been able to get Mpeg 2 to work on the sony's through my sever. I was able to biew movies and tv shows that are saved on my LDNA server through my TB, but had to load Plug Player which acted as the DLNA front end on the tB and Mobo player to play the mpeg. I can see the movies with the stock connected media app, but even with mobo player loaded, all it tells me is that it cannot play the movie type.

dont expect blu-ray players to play more than a few formats. I can't get more then 80% of my files to play through my blu-ray player, thats why I have the WDTV I guess, lol.

Thanks for your input. For clarification, I am trying to play videos I took on my tb on my tv via DLNA through my Sony blu-ray.... The pictures I have taken show up but the video's will not play due to an incomparable mime format. I guess that Sony's wont play 3gp files... Is there a way to convert 3gp files to .avi or mpeg format on Android so the blu-ray can play them?
