DNA on Straighttalk??

Bout to buy a Verizon phone but want to use it on straight talk...can I just buy a sim and plug in???? or does it need to be unlocked?? Is the DNA a gsm phone or a cdma phone...

Are you buying directly from Verizon or are you just looking specifically at the DNA? If you are buying from verizon, the DNA is the best smart phone through them that is globally unlocked so have at it. But if you are just looking for the top of the line device that will work with straight talk the new htc one will be out the 18th and has everything that the DNA has plus some (minus .3" screen size ) or if you are buying at full retail wait until the HTC one is released the retail price of the DNA is likely to go down.
