Question TCL 30z tracphone carrier?

What service or mobile network does tracfone operate off of? T-mobile, att, verizon? And what bands does the tracfone tcl30z have? CDMA or 4g gsm volte? My redpocket service operates off of gsmt ot gsm t-mobile 4g so any phone thats unlocked or t-mobile will work with it. Is there anyway to find out what phone service the tracfone is locked to or if its unlocked? Anyone had experience with this?

I read tracfone operates with 4 different carriers depending your area att, sprint, tmobile, verizon.

Theres a way to tell which carrier it is by the first 2 sim digits but i dont have the sim card.

A quick search shows Tracfone uses Verizon towers. I didn't see any alternative networks listed in my search but I'm sure it probably plays nice with other carriers, because gone are the days of roaming and roaming charges for this reason. In the same search it shows Verizon is CDMA. As for your device if it is truly GSM only, then no you could not take that to Verizon. However having said that, many newer devices, even some budget devices, have both technologies built in. My assumption would be that unless a device is built exclusively for a carrier it will be transferrable. I would suggest you Google your device and see if it is compatible with both network types. The easiest way to do this would be to search for the phone's specs. which will tell you what network types it is compatible with.
