DNA vs. GN2

Previously I bought the DNA and returned it within 2 weeks due to issues with sim card and got a GN2. But I really miss the DNA. I actually really like the sense UI designed by HTC. If it wasnt due to sim card issue I wouldn't have returned it. Now that verizon came out with the deal free DNA with 2 yr contract. I really want to jump back to the DNA.

My main question is was the issue of sim card somewhat resolved? I kind of went through the newer posts trying to see if that issue went away but noticed some people are still having issues. For the more recent buyers of the phone within the past 2 weeks are you having any issues?

Two weeks isn't really long enough to question if it's resolved or not. I've had mine two months and had the SIM card issue once, used the tape method and no problems since.

Yeah, you put a small square of scotch tape on the back of the SIM, it makes the SIM tighter on the contacts. Works pretty good...it's been almost a month.

Tape method?

Place a layer or two of scotch tape on the back of the SIM, making it thicker and pressing it more firmly against the contacts.
