With that storage it's still too much for me ,only like the sd card for sideload updatesWith 256gb starting storage, the micro sd slot is a HUGE bonus for me.

I agree. 256gb is more than enough for me. Thanks Sammy!
Yeah, me too. But I still want the SD card. That way, even if the phone dies, I still have most of my data. Had that happen just recently, my N8 got wet and never worked again. Sure made it easy to recover on the insurance provided replacement N8, with the external SD card holding so much of my data and backups.
You can sideload updates with adb. But you can transfer files to a PC a lot faster with an SD card thna with a USB cable. And you can unbrick most Samsung phones with an SD card. (And there's no reason to not have an SD card slot in the 10 - it comes in dual SIM versions, so there's room for one SIM and an SD card (which is the choice in most dual SIM phones - you can have 2 SIM cards or 1 SIM card and one SD card, you can't have 2 SIM cards and an SD card.)With that storage it's still too much for me ,only like the sd card for sideload updates

The note10 has none. It is weird price strategy
An SD card won't slow any phone down under normal circumstances. That would only possibly be a concern when you are transferring large amounts of data or if you are running apps that are moved to the card. I do not recommend moving apps to SD for a variety of reasons.I have a better question
Should we use a micro sd card , now that we have ufs 3.0
According to Jaime Rivera from pocketnow, this is going to slow the hell out of our phones
Is this true?
Would note 10+ really work a lot faster with ufs 3.0 rather than ufs 3.0 + sd card ?
Is the sd card going to slow it down?
