My LG P350 (yes its an old phone) has a sd reading problem,
whenever i put a sd card and then leave it for 5 minutes it reads it for a while and then says "unexpectedly removed"
but for some reason when i play a game off of that card it keeps playing?
i replaced the sd card, reformatted the sd card, hard reset the entire phone, cleaned the sd slot, everything.
its similar to this post here: eventually i came to a conclusion either the:

Android Operating System kicked the bucket and completely said nuh-uh to that sd card

or:

Part of the SD Slot is dead (which is most likely the case)

please do not say get a new phone i just want to play on this phone cuz "nostalgia" lol
no i cannot replace any parts but i can open the phone to see any problems

plz help D:

Get a new phone.

I kid, I kid. I just want to get a couple of things straight based on what you've told us.

Before we go too far welcome to Android Central forums by the way.

You say that your phone will tell you the SD was removed but then go on to say that games installed on it still work. And you say this as if they still work even when the phone says the SD is removed. Is it only some games that still work or they eventually all stop working too? If the games work even when it says the SD is unmounted is it saying the SD is unmounted even a problem?

If you are so willing to factory reset this device and only intend it to be used to play these games, do you even need to install games on the SD at all? Would there be enough space to install them directly on the device if you just removed everything else?

Speaking of other apps installed on the device, what else is installed on this device? Among the other apps are there apps to save space, or anything to do with the device storage? Just asking if it could be that one of your other apps is unmounting the SD or causing it not stay connected.

The only other thing that comes to mind, which would be a guess on my part anyway, would be that your SD is the wrong class for this device. SDs are less expensive per unit of memory so I could imagine you getting a newer, either faster or higher capacity SD that the device cannot handle. Have you tried other SDs in this device?

I looked it up and this device is only compatible with SDHC models. I don't know SDs like the back of my hand or anything so I looked this up and found that SDHC appears to only go up to 32 GB and look like most are class I, or class 1, is this what you have?

A second thing is where did you get this SD? Again with the price of SDs these days it's tempting to also try and save a buck, or a Loon, a pound, a franc, a Rupee, whatever you call it, which can lead to knock off, counterfeit, cards, is what B. Diddy would warn about. How confident are you that your card is good?

That's about all I can think of right off. Let us know what you find and we'll try to offer more advice.
